Naughty Nancy Debuts for Go Go Greys At The Spa And Full Card Picks For Saratoga - At The Post With Mut

Shoutout, MutSluts.
Are they just Minifans who have supported me for years at Saratoga? Yes. But they're the fucking best.
I had a blast on the DraftKings Travers Day LiveStream.
Admittedly, the betting could have gone better. A lot better. My two good price ideas on stream BOTH ran second. Napoleon Solo ran his eyeballs out in the Travers and got beat by a horse in Leading Change that just seemed to rebreak for Super Trainer™️Brad Cox in the final half a furlong.
Cox is the best dirt trainer of my lifetime. Better than Pletcher. Better than Asmussen. Better than Baffert. Better than Lukas. He is the king. I usually try to include him, but not in the Travers. It cost me. Big.
Sea Strike took all that money, and it was not in the mix. Derby Winner Golden Tempo never got the pace to run at.
I didn't give him the winner enough credit for his stakes win at Indy. Or bother to see that Zihnal had come out of that race to run a better Beyer in the West Virginia Derby. I should have at least had him as an exacta player at a huge price (12-1). I didn't. Congrats to the Travers-winning connections.
No disrespect to the Travers winner, but the star of the day was Englishman. He romped in the Jerkens and is the best three-year-old in training. What a runner. He's scheduled to train up until the Breeders' Cup Sprint, where he'll be a huge (and deserving) favorite.

Fingers crossed. Naughty Nancy runs tomorrow (Saturday) in Race 5 at Saratoga. Miss Watermelon runs on Monday also in Race 5. I’ll be in Bloomington for Big Noon Kickoff tomorrow so it’s up to Mut to bring Nancy home for GGG.
- MutStack.com owner Dave Portnoy in his Owner's Note on Friday
A big day Saturday ahead for Go Go Greys Stable, as Naughty Nancy is set to debut at Saratoga in Race 5.

She's a 2-year-old Dave bought out of the sale this past April.
Naughty Nancy is training well, and the buzz around the Go Go Greys barn is that she might be one of, if not the, most talented horses in the stable. She has been installed as the 3-1 ML favorite in the race. Her training and the fact that all of Dave's horses get bet likely factor into that morning line price.
And she is indeed training well. The DRF Clockers report used the phrase "Ability evident" in the notes and grades they gave her for her training coming into this race.
Will she be cranked up for this debut? Will her inexperience hurt her here against seven of these ten horses who have already run a race? That usually is a big advantage.
I think another first-time starter, #8 Secret Wish, has some talent. She's a sister to four other winners and a Bob Baffert horse that cost almost $1 million. #1 Christopher Vedder goes for Brad Cox, and he has awesome numbers with second-time starters. #6 Aerial Affair has run twice and ran into two very good horses and has flashed big speed early. #5 Rum Twist and #7 Stefania are in play. Shoot, #9 Flightress looks like she is training well for her second start.
This is a big test, but with a clean break under Dylan Davis, she has every chance to flash the ability that people around the barn have talked about. Excited to watch her run later today.

Then on Monday, closing day, Miss Watermelon goes for GGG. She was last seen running 7th and Santa Anita in a race she broke a step slow. Before that, she ran second to a highly-touted Bob Baffert horse.

She had a wild workout last week and went super fast. I need to look at that race more this weekend, but it looks like #5 Glow of a Rose and #10 Noble Glow will be major players. More on this race Monday.
Dave has talked about the frustration of only having one runner so far in the meet. He has two this weekend, and both look like players to reach the Winner's Circle.
I'll be on track Saturday and hope we have a big Go Go Greys cheering section.

DraftKings RaceDay
Some summers, I get very sad when Saratoga ends. If we're being honest, this won't be one of those summers.
My betting has been below my own standards. Picks here have been good but not great. Looking forward to a reset and the opening of the new Belmont Park in a couple of weeks.
And while I like college football, I'm not a Super Fan. So the racing content will continue here on Saturdays through at least the Breeders' Cup, with a focus on Belmont and Keeneland.
But Saturday? I'll be at Saratoga taking some swings.

To celebrate Naughty Nancy's debut, DraftKings Racing and DK Horse have a betback on Race 5 at Saratoga. Plus track bet bonuses at Kentucky Downs and Del Mar. Make sure you go to the REWARDS OR OFFERS TAB to OPT IN. Great to meet with the DraftKings Racing team last week - some very cool stuff coming as they continue to build out their racing product for us horseplayers.
As for Saratoga, some horses I want to bet today
