'I Thought We Were Small?' - Deion Sanders Wasted No Time Firing Back At Everyone Making Fun Of The Colorado Roster All Offseason

We saw what happened. Colorado blocking a kick to win at the buzzer. Awesome start to college football week 1. Whatever you want to call it, we gotta get rid of calling week 0, week 0. It's football. That's week 1. I digress. This is about Colorado and Deion Sanders taking some shots. Why?

The whole offseason people made fun of Colorado for having a small problem. John Rich, not the guy who started it all, but blogged it here:

They looked small. I don't know how that's an insult. I don't get insulted when people say I'm short. It happens. You can't change shit. I don't know life as a tall guy, would like to, but at 40-years old it's gone. I am who I am. But Deion? Deion won't waste a chance to fire back

I love it. You win, you can talk some shit. That's how sports work. You ran for more yards, got the win, remind everyone that they called you small. It's honestly a hilarious chirp because, again, they are small. They aren't some giant players like we see on the Wisconsin offensive line. But it's fine. If you win, who gives a shit?

I know people get annoyed with Deion and everything, but I'm a fan. Give me guys with some sort of personality. He knows what's being said out there. Sure, some of it is annoying. But I'd rather have a guy like this than the same old bullshit answer. Give me a coach who isn't afraid to talk a little shit, especially after a win. I also don't blame him when everyone spent a day on Twitter breaking down that they won't win shit because of how small they are. God it feels great having games again. That's all that matters.
