Negotiation Masterclass: Cowboys Fullback Gave Up The Number 40 To Von Miller In Exchange For Being Business Partners And 'Chicken For Life'
We know all about guys and jersey numbers. You hear it every year where people are negotiating money and certain deals. Well, we got that again with Von Miller and the Cowboys fullback Hunter Luepke. Miller talked about it a couple weeks ago, ready to make a deal. Well, the deal was done:
Not just chicken for life but part ownership!
That's a perfect fullback deal. I think I'd take this over the $40,000 or whatever you typically would get. It's a nice little treat. Hunter Luepke has over $5 million in guaranteed money. That's not bad! You can live off of that and aren't desperate for the extra $40,000. Take the free food and money invested in the chicken business. Good business to be in. Chicken is delicious. You can do a whole lot of stuff with chicken. Throw it in pasta, fry it, smoke it, different flavors and stuff. It's the best.
I get it from Von Miller's side too. Numbers matter. You fall in love with a number and you just look weird wearing something different. If you close your eyes and say like number 10, you picture Eli Manning. Whatever number it might be, you just need to make sure you are wearing it. Give up some chicken, at least you got your number.
Leave it to a fullback to negotiate some food items though. Smart business through and through.
