In A SHOCKING TWIST That Nobody Ever Saw Coming, Baby Gronk Might Actually Be Good at Football

Right? Not to shabby. I'm not saying he's some surefire D1 prospect, but there was a time when I thought he'd be lucky to get snaps on a high school field. I thought the whole Baby Gronk thing was manufactured by his crazy dad (who will almost certainly slide in my DM's within 10 minutes of this blog going up) despite his son having zero talent whatsoever. I thought his career was cooked when Baby Diggs snatched his soul on the timeline.

But that 8th grade Baby Gronk highlight... that was alright. That's is a kid who's at least going to be a respectable high school football player.

If you have size, a little bit of athleticism, and a parent who's going to pay for you to train with NFL Hall of Famers and send you to every football camp in the country.

Then you're going to develop into something. I truly have no idea how to gauge the talent level of a middle schooler, but in these highlights… am I crazy for thinking he actually looks pretty good? At minimum he has good hands, can track a football in the air, and adjusts his body well.

Of course the one glaring obstacle Young Gronk is likely facing is that he's in 8th grade and appears to be a full grown adult. He's bigger than everyone out there. Maybe he'll keep growing, but it's a tale as old as time. My school's 8th grade football team went undefeated, and by the time we were seniors could barely win a game. Some might argue it's because they lost starting cornerback John Rich to the game of golf. But most likely it's because our two stud 8th grade running backs were the exact same size come senior year of high school.

And in today's world, the fact that Baby Gronk's dad turned him into an internet celebrity at age 7, and has been on social media relentlessly ever since… somebody is going to give him a roster spot for the publicity alone. Deion Sanders does exist.

We've got at least 9 more years of Baby Gronk football content coming our way. Whether it ends up on a real college football team that plays on Saturdays, or as TE3 at Framingham State… who knows.

Personally, I'm cheering for him. Because how funny would it be if Baby Gronk actually ended up being an NFL football player then cut his dad out from his life entirely?

Also, Madden San Miguel is a great football name. You can't be Baby Gronk forever. Madden San Miguel has legs.
