Credit To Tennis Star Ben Shelton For Having A Phenomenal Support System Around Him. Especially His Girlfriend, Trinity Rodman
Julian Finney. Getty Images.Ben Shelton is one of the most exciting American men's tennis players we've seen in a while. He has the weight of a nation resting upon his shoulders to end the American men's Grand Slam drought. He is currently ranked 9th in the world, but has been as high up as #5.
He has what it takes to win a slam. Jannik Sinner isn't in the draw, Carlos Alcaraz is still fresh off of an injury, and father time has caught up to Novak Djokovic. Ben Shelton has an opportunity to do something truly special here, but he can't do it alone.
You need to have a strong support system around you. It's paramount for anybody aiming to achieve any kind of significant success. The phrase "It takes a village" is so true. Ben Shelton needs people who will be there in his corner no matter what, and give him that foundation he needs to go out there and be the best without feeling like he's taking on the entire world by himself. And it looks like he's getting all the support he needs from his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman.
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
Now that right there is how you become top 10 in the world. The "I heart my boyfriend" shirt. The tennis racket necklace with a "B" in the middle of it. This should at least count as half a Grand Slam win for Ben Shelton.
And here's the thing about Trinity Rodman--she's a professional athlete herself. So she knows what it takes to compete at the highest level. She's one of the best women's soccer players in the world. She's won a gold medal with Team USA at the Olympics. And that support system grows even deeper when he remember her dad knows a thing or two about competing at the highest level.

But yeah. Ben Shelton just seems like a dangerous man right now at this US Open. He's dropped a couple of sets, but he's on his way to the 3rd round and he's got all the support he needs to power through the rest of the draw right here.
