SHOCKER: Jalen Hurts Was Asked AGAIN About His Relationship With AJ Brown, Because The Media Is Obsessed With Drama That Doesn't Exist

Can we please for the love of all that is good and holy just get to the start of football season? Can we PLEASE get to the games so people can stop talking about all the bullshit “drama” with the Philadelphia Eagles? 

I mean how much longer are we gonna drag this AJ Brown thing out? How many times are we gonna ask Jalen Hurts the same question over and over and over again? They treat Jalen like he’s the league’s biggest gossip queen who’s gonna spill all the "hot tea," which I think is a term the cool kids are still using these days. 

Jalen Hurts is one of the most boring people on the planet. It's why I love him as my franchise quarterback. He's not into the headlines. He's not into stirring the pot. The guy is strictly about football. He's gonna get up on the podium, tell everybody to keep the main thing the main thing, maybe throw a bible verse in there, and then get the fuck out. 

And don't get me wrong, I obviously get why people were pestering him with questions about AJ Brown last season. It was a huge topic of discussion. It continued to be a huge topic of discussion after the season and leading up until the eventual trade, so it made sense why Jalen was asked about the whole saga then, too. As a reporter, you have to ask the question. 

But now??? When game week is less than five days away? We really gotta have a guy from GQ bring up all the drama AGAIN? Let it die, bro! Yes, Jalen and AJ are no longer as tight as they used to be. But guess what? THEY'RE NOT TEAMMATES ANYMORE! WHAT DOES IT MATTER?!

Besides, we saw them two weeks ago dapping up and sharing a hug at joint practices. They're all good. Why do we have to keep lingering on the fractures in their relationship like it's TMZ? 

By the way, I don't have anything against the man interviewing Jalen. I enjoyed the actual feature article, and I think there are plenty of good tidbits in there that give you a better look into Jalen Hurts as a man. But watching this guy try and sap every ounce of juice from the AJ Brown situation despite us being three months removed from it all made me wanna blow chunks. And of course, that's the #1 excerpt from the feature that's being clipped and aggregated and spread across the entire internet right now. 

Listen, people love turning the Eagles into a circus. Now that we've got the diva wide receiver and the boneheaded OC out of town, though, the Birds are the quietest they've been in years. No drama, no nothing. And the media can't fucking stand it. They're just grasping for any type of tabloid headline they can get.

And maybe I'm feeding into it. Maybe I'm a part of the problem for bringing more attention to this issue. Maybe I'm just a fucking idiot. However, if I am a fucking idiot, I'm a fucking idiot who will fight for my quarterback. And I want him to be able to move on from this whole mess so he can focus on leading the Birds back to another Super Bowl.
