A New "Guitar Hero" Style Game Called Stage Tour Is On Its Way, Equipped With 90+ Licensed Songs And 180 Authentic In-Game Gibson Guitars And It Looks Perfect

Listen, there was something special about Guitar Hero as a kid. There was nothing like buying those overpriced guitar and drum combos and heading to your basement and rocking out with the fellas that was just a special time. Then you saw the people who would attempt to get world records on Through The Fire & Flames and it was truly man at its peak:

The last release in the franchise was in 2015, until here came their spiritual successor, Stage Tour. Apparently the creators of the game are advisors for this new franchise and the studio head is a veteran of Guitar Hero, so we're in some good hands. The songs look absolutely electric by the way:

Between this and GTA 6, 2026 may genuinely be the best year for gaming for a long time to come.
