There's Another One – Peyton Manning's Son, Marshall Manning, Made His High School Football Debut at QB Last Night

There's another Manning. I don't know why I ever thought Arch would have been the last. They're actually 2 more male Mannings. Eli Manning's has an 8-year old son, and Peyton Manning has a high school freshman named Marshall. Marshall Manning is coming. And he's the spitting image of his dad. Right down to the #16, and the way he looks kind of stiff yet supremely in control on the football field.

Marshall Manning got his first piece of varsity action for The Baylor School last night. A school you might remember for having facilities so nice, FIFA had Spain use it for their U.S. training ground/base camp at this year's World Cup.

Peyton Manning's son goes to one of the coolest high schools in the country. Who would have guessed?

And last night's football game between Baylor and Brentwood Academy (both Tennessee schools) turned out to be fairly interesting beyond Peyton Manning's son playing quarterback. Marshall Manning getting some action was fun and all, but he only got in the game for two plays. He did however complete a pass on his first snap to one Cornbread Adams.

Now that's a name to keep an eye on. Cornbread's parents know what they're doing. If you want your kid to make it in the league, any league, it never hurts to establish a fun and memorable nickname (his real name is Antwaun). According to 247 Sports, Cornbread is a junior with offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Notre Dame, LSU, Tennessee, you get the point. I am excited for the future of Cornbread Adams.

Anyways, the quarterback who Marshall Manning backs up is a 4-star named Keegan Croucher. He's committed to Ole Miss. Whereas Brentwood's quarterback, 3-star Crews Jenkins, is also committed to Ole Miss. It was a classic Ole Miss-off.

The Baylor School won the Ole Miss-off 38-20. But all this noise about a brand new Manning and Cornbread Adams pales in comparison to the real star of last night's game – David Gabriel Georges. Big T posted a blog about him last night. But I couldn't possibly blog anything about that game without mentioning this fucking guy.

What on earth was that? It was a one-armed handstand. He stiff armed the damn ground. A revolutionary new move. More running backs should try it. But I suppose not all running backs are 6-0, 210-pound high school freaks.

Somehow that guy is not the #1 RB recruit in this upcoming class. He's #2 behind this dude.

But David Gabriel Georges (aka DDG) is still a 5-star plus recruit. He's committed to Tennessee. And he stole the show last night.

Now for the love of god can college football start so I can stop blogging about high school kids.
