DUGGS ALERT: Big Cat Is A Finalist For Akron Football's Viral Promo Where A Fan Calls Their Offensive Plays In The Home Opener

God DAMN do I love the smell of MACtion in the morning! Hopefully Big Cat makes it all the way to the end of this fan raffle. Imagine a real life shark wheel being called from Coach Duggs in the flesh? What a beautiful full circle moment that'd be. Definitely gotta bring Billy Football outta retirement for a night too. Either way,  talk about the definition of an electric factory.

And credit to the big brains at Akron for putting together one of the most banana land promotions the internet has ever season. Pretty brilliant way to push season tickets & pageviews aplenty. Their original tweet about the raffle is up to 23 million views now. Sounds like it's already been a wildly successful campaign for them already.

Of course there are plenty of haters & losers online who think the raffle is all a sham and Akron clearly hand picked Big Cat into their Top 9 finalists. Even if that was the case, WHO CARES? The whole thing is about publicity isn't it? Let their social media managers cook.

Plus I'm not sure how many other prospective OC's out there bought themselves (8) season tickets. Wait a second… Coach Cat actually bought (18) from Akron??! Good golly that's gotta be a current record for any stadium in the MAC. Well played sir.
