The Stathole Top-100 Fantasy Football Rankings For 2026

Degenerates of fake football. It is time.

Running back my top-100 fantasy football players for 2026 so you have someone to yell at when things go to hell. If you missed me last year, I actually had a pretty good spread. Christian McCaffrey was my #1 overall despite being an ADP 12 or so and I won't lie, I was sweating bullets with all the bullshit reports in camp suggesting he might once again do offseason Christian McCaffrey things. Then he went on to cash in as the #1 overall player in the game.

Pay no mind that I faded JSN and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Can't get em all!

I'm using .5 PPR as the basis here for 12-team leagues. All picks are compared to the ADP from Draft Sharks for those settings which I pulled a week or so ago to compare how high or low on a guy I am. Feeling good about these picks this year. Lot of guys mispriced. Lot of guys overvalued. Let's get to this. Round by round with some takes to make my case.

Jahmyr Gibbs

There's nothing better than making a splash with a hot take #1 overall and having that pan out. In case you missed the intro, that's what happened when I had CMC as my overall #1 in last year's top-100 rankings. But sometimes the answer just hits you flat in the face. This dude was one of the top players last year and he was just a 1a running back on his team. What the fuck is that? This almost just isn't fair to the rest of the league. We are on LaDanian Tomlinson prime season watch with this guy now that Montgomery is out of the way. Lot of people have Bijan here as the 1.1 and I think that's flat out bonkers wrong. Better talent. Better offense. This is a no brainer.

Christian McCaffery

Market is still overly worried about CMC's health. Whatever, I'll take that substation discount on the #1 player last year with no real changes in team dynamic. So he had a few carries last year. Whatever. Scared money don't make money. It feels like yesterday I had put him as my #1 overall player to draft in my top-100 last August despite barely being a first rounder by ADP. Oh, he sat out the other day with some tightness? Buy, buy, buy!!

Bijan Robinson

Who's leading this team's offense again?

Uhhh yeah, I'm OUT on Bijan as the #1 pick.

Jonathan Taylor

Completely understand taking Puka here and I waffled a bit, but it looks like Daniel Jones is going to be OK which is not something I'd ever imagine saying to prop up a running back. Crazy world. By the way, what if the Seahawks and Colts make the Super Bowl this year? Just to completely baffle the entire football world. It's actually not that impossible to think about. As a matter of fact, if Jones didn't hurt last year there's a universe where there was back-to-back Sam Darnold / Daniel Jones Super Bowls.

Puka Nacua / Ja'Marr Chase

Just an absolute stud. With Adams aging and Tee Higgins still a star opposite Ja'Marr Chase, that's pretty much the reason I have Puka first here.

James Cook

Dark horse #1 overall player potential with Joe Brady now at OC. What if he makes Josh Allen not run as much at the goal line to preserve him for the playoffs? Josh will still be Josh at times, but this could tack on a few more touchdowns for Cook who's also a real threat through the air.

Justin Jefferson

I think Kyler Murray has the potential to make everyone say "oh yeah, Justin Jefferson is the best wide receiver in the league". This could end up being the steal of the draft everyone looks back at wondering how they didn't see it coming.

Saquon Barkley

Kevin Patullo being out of the picture just has to mean good things for pretty much everyone in Philly. Saquon is not going to repeat that magical 2024 season, but things should go much better this year.

Chase Brown / Kenneth Walker / Derrick Henry

Honestly pick your favorite or fade the guy that's on a team in your team's division. Chase Brown with a healthy Burrow who keeps hyping him up or Kenneth Walker who is the best back Andy Reid has had since… IDK, Shady McCoy? I've heard he picked the Chiefs with the understanding that he can be THE guy to carry the rock. Or Derrick Henry who was one of the best players last year again and is only being downgraded due to his age. Dude is timeless. For now anyway. I'm happy to roll the dice on any of these guys to start the Round 1/2 turn.

We'll start picking and choosing some notable names from here on out.

AJ Brown

Giving Drake Maye this canvas to paint is going to be a sight to see. I'm usually throw caution to the wind guy on nagging injury issues, and I'll be that guy here to with his chronic knee problems. Sure, don't seem to be an issue in camp as he and Maye have been instant chemistry.

JSN / Amon-Ra St. Brown

Bernie Sanders voice: I am once again ranking both of these guy probably lower than they should be because I learned nothing from last year. But in case you didn't know - I did get CMC #1 overall correct. Friendly reminder. Sometimes you're just a year early. "Post hype breakouts" are the term on the street and these two guys are just my "post fade breakdowns" I guess. They will still be good. Top of Round 2 isn't crazy, I don't think. I just see league-winning potential out of the guys ahead a little bit more.

Malik Nabers

Looks like he's going to be good to go with that injury. Again - caution to the wind.

Josh Allen

Pretty much the idea with QB this year is take Josh Allen in the early third to mid-third round or wait on a late-QB option. I'm not saying draft him in the middle-second round here. I'm saying he'll likely be worth it though. Why? Because as I've stated a million times and statistically proven with WAR, he's been worth this price year-over-year over freaking year.

Jeanty / Achane

BAD teams.

Omarion Hampton

Moved him down as their offensive line is once again running out of power in training camp. Like that cell phone you should have upgraded three years ago that dies 20 minutes after you unplug it. That's the Chargers offensive line.

Emeka Egbuka

One of my favorite guys to get at a bargain. #1 overall WR upside as we saw early his rookie year. Everything points to him making a comeback. He dealt with a soft-tissue injury. His quarterback played really hurt. And his offensive line watched too much Chargers training camp tape. It was a lot of things going against him. There's just no way you can tell me all of that skill he showcased was some random fluke. That's just not possible. Wheels up on Emeka Egbuka.

Round 3 gets a little crazy. Literally the only player who is boringly close to chalk is Kyren. I don't know - either these ADP numbers are whack or I am.

DJ Moore

Should be one of Josh Allen's best receivers. Better than Diggs who was on his way down, and… my god yeah that's about the only one of note in Josh Allen's career. Who else is even an honorable mention? Don't say Gabe Davis (this year is the year!). Cole Beasley? Emmanuel Sanders? Khalil Shakir? John Brown? The only con with Moore is that Josh Allen has always been kind of a equal distributer. Then again - that list of options might be the reason why.

Zay Flowers

Dude seemed on the ascent towards the end of last year. Four touchdowns in his final four games. I kind of like Declan Doyle bringing a little juice to this offense too. Probably still going to give you some stinkers though with Lamar Jackson taking a lot of the passing snaps himself.

Mike Evans

I'm buying the substation dip. And the camp injury perhaps caused from said substation. And the fact that he had two season ending injuries on one play last year the game he returned from a multi-week earlier injury. I think Purdy is going to find this dude so long as he stays on the field and as you might know by now, I kind of live in a world where I assume injuries don't exist. I'm not sure what will make me change with that. I guess if Joel Embiid ever joined the NFL.

Coleston Loveland

I think he honestly has about as good a chance at TE1 as anyone else with this Ben Johnson led offense. Go ahead - take Trey McBride instead like a chalk lemming and have fun watching whatever that offense pretends it is.

D'Andre Swift

Guy has been described as one of the most impressive players in camp outside of Caleb Williams. Sneaky, sneaky pick as the guy on this offense no one talks about.

If there's one guy I'm worried about being wrong with here, it's Tetairoa McMillan. Showed he's going to be a dude in this league. It's just that Bryce Young cannot be trusted. All the receivers you see listed here in Round 4 have a QB I can at least kind of trust. Olave being the most risky of them.

Jeremiyah Love

As you know I don't bother worrying about injury risk. But I do worry about a guy currently injured. I didn't like Love before the high ankle sprain, but that hurts a fantasy team even more when he plays hindered vs missing time. At least then you can pivot to a replacement. Oh yeah and he plays on the Cardinals. Talented? Hell yeah. But have we not learned our lesson from Ashton Jeanty last year?

Travis Etienne

Figure out how to pronounce your name dude. Then maybe I'll move you up.

George Kittle

If I'm being honest, If Kittle and Love are best available I'm hitting Kittle. Assuming I missed on Loveland. Let's move Kittle up to 46. I was only 47 spots ahead of ADP anyway, what's two more? Certainly he won't get injured again this year.

Caleb Williams / Drake Maye

Everything seems to point to a monster season for Caleb. If he can just figure out being accurate on the more mundane passes in a structured offense with consistency. Everything else is ready to ascend into elite. Weapons everywhere. A coach saying he wants to score a billion points. Mobile runner when needed. And the secret weapon a lot of great quarterbacks don't have - a deplorable defense. That's why I'm taking him over Maye even though it's still close to a toss up. Maye should be great too. Has a much higher floor than Caleb - but the upside on Williams is league-winning. You can always stream if it doesn't go right. But you should always aim for the highest upside.

Jonathan Brooks

Absolute upside move here. If Ricco Dowdle can be as explosive on the Panthers then why can't one of the better prospects now that he's all healthy and good to go. Great signs out of camp from what I can tell. I'm ready to give him a chance.

Lamar Jackson

I'm torn here. I think there's a world he can be one of the best QBs again, but given that so much of it is predicating on him being able to run effectively and that seems to be slowing down I'm just not taking that chance. And there putting him under center more too it sounds like which probably means less running. So, I'll plant my fade flag all while ready to be 100 percent wrong in the first quarter of Week 1.

Harold Fanin Jr.

One of the best talents at tight end. It's simply not fair to this man that he plays on the Browns. Deshaun Watson can't move or process the field and based on the first preseason game that made him by far the best Browns QB in that game. I actually kind of thought he might be somewhat better than he's been in Cleveland. Not too sure about that anymore.

Jaxson Dart

I'd move Jaxson Dart up three or four rounds in points per blue tent visit leagues.

Tony Pollard

This is easily the most boring, but probably somewhat helpful pick in the draft. Tony Pollard is not a flashy talent. He plays for a putrid offense of a putrid team in a weak market. There's just nothing going on here that could spark an electron of stimulation, yet he will probably service your team well. Like a nice oil change. Something you need, but never notice, nor ever get excited for getting. That's exactly what Tony Pollard is. The oil change of fantasy drafts. The guy Brad Pitt was telling Matt Damon to be in Ocean's 11. You'll forget you drafted him by your final pick.

Stefon Diggs

For the record - he is now on an actual team. The Commanders. Don't get too excited that my data wasn't up to date, Brandon Aiyuk.

Justin Herbert

I'd have him so much higher if his offensive line would stop acting like Lightning bugs. These guys sure have a knack for appearing and disappearing every year in July.

There's no one even remotely close to exciting in this Round 8 list except Parker Washington. Makes me want to move him up a round. Let's go ahead and mentally do that. Let's actually switch him with his bum teammate Brian Thomas Jr. This is an official spur of the moment draft board edit.

Let's finish up the top-100 with the start of Round 9 even though at this point I even lost interest somewhere in the 70s.

Before you all spout off with your takes remember just a couple things. First - you can make your own top-100 if you don't like these. Second - I had Christian McCaffery ranked #1 overall last year when he was ADP 12 and - I'm not sure if you recall this - but he was the best player in fantasy.
