Greatest MLB Debut Of All Time: Cardinals Prospect Joshua Baez Just Homered In The First Three At Bats Of His Career To All Three Parts Of The Field At Wrigley

Cardinals top prospect Joshua Baez's day started in extremely cool fashion. Making his MLB debut he jumped on the first pitch of his big league career and belted it to center field for the first hit and homer of his career. The 23 year old belted 34 homers at Triple A this year and figured why stop now. What a start!

Things only got crazier. This behemoth seems to think Major League Baseball is easy. His second at bat lasted a bit longer than the first but resulted in the same fate, ball over the wall, this time to left field. See ball hit ball very far, what's so hard about it?

He couldn't possibly do it again for a third time, right? Well Matthew Boyd was down to find out. This time the ball left the yard to right field. What the actual fuck? That's what Boyd was probably thinking to himself.

Three at bats. Three homers. One to each part of the field. The greatest MLB debut of all time. Never seen anything like it because you haven't. No one has. Back when he signed his contract with the Cards he said he wanted to be better than Mike Trout some day.

Better set your sights a little higher than that. Back in June he hit four homers in a game for Triple A Memphis. This man has POWER. He may be the most powerful man on Earth. Some day we might need to plan how to stop him from taking over the planet. For now he's decided to play baseball and terrorize opposing pitchers.

Update: In his 4th at bat he lined out to left as Colin Rea put a stop to this madness. Maybe he's just a Matthew Boyd merchant?
