MUST WATCH: We've Got A Fight Of The Year Nominee Out Of Lima, Peru
I'm not going to spoil this one with too many words.
1- because I feel weird anytime the subject is about people/civilians fighting out on the street in real life. I was almost killed by somebody for no reason 3 years ago, leaving work to get into an uber. So whether its trauma, or whatever you want to call it, this stuff isn't easy for me to joke about.
2- all that said, this fight 100% needed a blog showcasing it, because it seriously had it all, and was unreal. (And it appeared everybody walked away from it, seemingly ok.
But man did this fight seriously have it all.
As I watched this all start to unfold, it felt like I was watching one of my favorite Nintendo games from childhood, come to life.
Double Dragon.
The first gaem I could remember where you could pick shit up- like normal regular shit laying around in the game, and use it as a weapon against your enemies.
Which was exactly what happened in this fight when the shirtless guy acquired a fire extinguisher.

The shirtless guy turned into an absolute menace when he acquired it. And for what seemed to be a fight that the guy in the black shirt was doing an amazing job of dominating- despite being outnumbered, the momentum completely shifted once this guy started using it.

I fucking gasped when I saw him swing it the second time at the guy in the black shirt.

Thank God he missed on that swing or this fight would have probably ended in a homicide.
Speaking of homicide. My man in the yellow shirt's pants stood zero chance in this melee.

Black shirt guy was so smart to pick up the cannister after the first shirtless guy threw it at his VW bumper.
And he emptied that thing like Peter North on a nice tan, bleached blonde costar. Sprayed it everywhere.

His only mistake was allowing it to be taken from him. Which caused him to almost have his head caved in.
But regardless. This thing started off great, with everybody squaring off, BUT (and an important but here), nobody interfering, or taking cheap shots, or ganging up.

They let their boys square up and go one on one.

Which honestly always makes the difference between the "must watch fights of the year", and the stuff you feel dirty watching.
Well done amigos.
