There's No Doubt The Giants Finally Have Good Vibes And A Real Coaching Staff Again When Jameis Winston Is Comparing Them To Gumbo

This is it. This is the moment that eases my nerves about John Harbaugh making the move to the Giants and hell even Matt Nagy being on the staff. You don't get Jameis Winston comparing you to gumbo unless the vibes are good and things are going well. Jameis doesn't take gumbo lightly, that's basically the highest compliment he can give a person. It's true though. I mean I think etoufee is better than gumbo, but gumbo is a 1st round draft pick in any draft. It's delicious, it can be eaten in any season and you can get whatever mix of food you want in there. 

It also just makes me so happy to have Jameis as a Giant. The man is elite in front of a mic and the ideal backup quarterback. We're not going to find ourselves in a quarterback controversy or people wondering what we got with the backup. But if Dart gets hurt and Winston needs to come in and play, it's the best feeling. You could get 400 yards and 6 touchdowns or you could get him going rogue. That's what I want out of my backup quarterback. 

That's a man who knows he's in a good spot. He found his home with the Giants. He's already beloved and gets to do whatever side gig he wants. But this is step 1. You start comparing the coaching staff to gumbo and expectations are going to rise. If he says they got some crawfish etoufee in them and we're winning the Super Bowl. That's the line I'm drawing here. Things are better than they've been since Coach Coughlin left. We got a real coaching staff again and I've never been so happy. Now let's go win some games and eat the gumbo.
