Alabama And Auburn Have Released Their Team Photos, And The Internet Can't Help But Notice One Major Difference

Football is back baby! You can taste it. The Hall Of Fame game was a classic, we got another weekend full of preseason action, and before you know it your weekends will be filled from Thursday-Sunday with hard hitting real life meaningful football back in our lives and all will be good in the world. But in the meantime, we are left to make stories out of things off the field, and one of those is Alabama and Auburn's team pictures.

I am trying my best to say this is a non story, but my boys in T-Town are making this really hard to ignore. Auburn's picture looks beautiful. Organized, militant almost, literally perfect. The symmetry, or organization, color scheme. Beautiful. Alabama's has flaws, let's face it. Looks like a family reunion photo where everyone is dying to get it over with and back to drinking or sitting in their chair. It's not lined up, the standing up is a bad choice, and the 63 staffers jammed into the top of the picture looks like when 14 guys split bottle service at a club and are jammed in the table they got. It's got massive amounts of problems, and is only more glaring after Auburn's looked so good.

Now, the real question here is does this matter? And most of the time I would say no it doesn't. I think it's a not great look and someone should have been like "hey we got a lot of tradition here, let's get this right before making it official." and the only thing that matters in the Iron Bowl is the final score. But when you have Kalen DeBoer struggle the way he has (in Alabama standards), this year's game has become can't lose for The Tide. Can you imagine having to relive this photo with the final score in November? Must win for Bama to make this story a nothing burger.
