Uh Oh, Jaxson Dart Learned How To Slide After His Teammates Begged Him To Start Practicing It
Uh oh. Now that Jaxson Dart learned how to slide what's everyone going to bitch about now? Sliding too much? Being too good of a teammate? Being a leader and QB1? Because all I heard since Dart went to the blue tent last year is he'll never survive and needs to learn how to slide and get out of bounds despite all these other quarterbacks being injury prone. But now we unleashed the secret weapon. We unleashed the slide and Dart can now put every defense on skates with the fact they can't just lay him out.
The fact that Harbaugh and the defense were clapping for him sliding shows you the fact he's going to be a star. Defensive players aren't clapping for a quarterback deciding to slide whether it's their teammate or not. But, if your quarterback has the chance to actually keep you in games and have games that matter after Halloween, you give him a standing ovation. You might even have to go give him a hug for learning how to slide. That's big time in this franchise.
And, yes, the comparison is obvious. This is Happy learning to putt. This is how I feel walking around right now. We got a quarterback who can throw, run and slide. Basically feel like Boobie Miles' uncle writing that. Let's see what other movie comparisons I can throw in here for the hell of it. Again, this is about the growth of Jaxson Dart. We traded up for him. We made the decision he's QB1, he helped recruit Harbaugh. It's time to stay on the field and win games. This is maybe the best news of the offseason, at least since the coaching decision.
