Kawhi Leonard Appears To Be Completely Unbothered And Not Worried At All About The NBA's Investigation

While Pablo Torre continues to uncover more and more shady business dealings involving Kawhi and the NBA continues to drag their feet with the official investigation, have you ever wondered what Kawhi himself is up to these days? Maybe he's nervous about potentially missing the season as a result of this investigation, maybe he's in the gym working on his game preparing for a return season with the Raptors, it's hard to know with such a private guy. I feel like the only time we've ever really seen Kawhi in public was when he went to a Dodger game that one time after signing in LA.

Well let me ask you, does this look like a man that's worried about Adam Silver and his little investigation? Does this look like a man that cares that Pablo Torre might be looking into his business dealings?

I'm not even trying to be hyperbolic when I say this, but this might be the most I've ever heard Kawhi Leonard talk in one sitting. Even his basketball pressers and media sessions don't have this many words. Is this what all those smart people are talking about when it comes to the dangers of A.I. and how the robots are evolving? Has Dante actually been right this whole time? I'm not kidding I had to double and triple check that this video wasn't some sort of A.I. because Kawhi just kept talking and talking! Did we see a smile? A laugh? His iOS really is becoming advanced.

I have no idea if this was all part of some sort of ad or anything along those lines, but I WILL say this feels like a guy who now understands that he most likely had to produce "something" to help back up the under the table money he's been getting. This may as well have been Kawhi finally planting a tree, you know what I mean? That's partially what makes his investigation so funny, all he had to do was THE BARE MINIMUM when it came to these "endorsement" deals. One tweet, one video, whatever. That's sneaky all I was thinking about during that clip. For all we know, he just had to put out some sort of video for a "partnership" or something and boom, the money clears without issue. I mean, when else have we seen Kawhi Leonard willingly go on the internet and make videos? Or smile? Or crack jokes?

Now, in terms of what he's referencing, unfortunately this is now my problem. All I can say is Paul George really can't afford to have too many stinkers as a Celtic these days, especially when videos like this are circling around

I just know the first time George has like a 3-16 (2-9) performance, that suitcase video is going to be all over my timeline, and while two months ago that normally would make me laugh, let's just say things have changed quite a bit. Now it'll just make me sad and mostly annoyed.

But back to Kawhi for a second. The other read on that video is that this is a man who knows he beat the charges. I suppose having hundreds of millions and a couple of titles and Finals MVPs may change your outlook on life, but given everything going down right now you would think that may weigh on a guy. Kawhi? Nope. Not even a little bit. Now why do we think that might be? I tend to think it's because he knows he got away with it. Maybe the Clippers pay a fine and they get punished, but Kawhi himself? At the very least, maybe his punishment isn't all that bad. Maybe a small suspension or fine or something along those lines, because that does NOT look like a guy who may be worried about his NBA future.

All I know is that if David Stern were still around and following all the extremely incriminating evidence that Kawhi and the Clippers found ways to circumvent the cap if he then say Kawhi making videos on the internet of him joking and loving life, he'd drop the hammer. Adam Silver? He's still trying to find a way to pretend none of this ever happened.
