DiJonai Carrington Posts "WHITE PRIVILEGE" After Nearly Beheading Sophie Cunningham & Getting Ejected For A CLEAR Flagrant 2 Foul And It Sadly Overshadowed Caitlin Clark Achieving Another WNBA Record While Dropping 25/11 With 5 Threes

Shout out to that Twitter user CJ for having some extremely keen foresight today. Even with all the WNBA coverage I've done, had no idea DiJonai Carrington was already known for being one of the biggest losers in the league.

In fact judging from her actions today, I'd say that reputation didn't precede her enough. What a supremely dangerous play on Sophie Cunningham. No place in sports for ugly unnecessary violence like this. A disgusting act no matter which team you root for.

Don't expect an apology from DiJonai anytime soon though. First thing she did after getting ejected was running to her phone to pose as a victim on Threads. And also make thinly veiled threats about her next game versus the Fever. 

Clearly was feeling very contrite in the locker room! Good stuff.

Bananaland to see a player who can't even crack 20 minutes of playing time and is barely averaging 10 points think physical violence & crying wolf will earn them some easy clout. Maybe go practice shooting a few jumpers instead of constantly getting messy on social media and/or accosting cab drivers DiJonai? Just some food for thought.

Such a shame too because overall it was a pretty competitive thrilling game. Especially if you're a Caitlin Clark fan. Not so much if you're a CC hater. As is tradition. (Excluding those 2 missed free throws on Friday)

18th game with 20/10. 8th career game with 25+ points, 10+ assists, & 5+ 3PM made. Meanwhile the ENTIRE league only has (4) total amongst everyone. 

Plus her & Kelsey Mitchell have combined for 513 points AKA the MOST by any duo across a 10-game span in WNBA history. Is that good or bad? Just wondering. 

Now you'd think a player with that much skill & entertainment value would be extremely appreciated by The W. And yet… not even fuckin' close pal. SICK LEAGUE!

And if you don't think there's a wildly unfair bias against Caitlin, then please do explain how she got a tech for accidentally falling into a ref while there is NOTHING called for this tomfoolery? Interesting.

What a bizarre broken league indeed. Caitlin really should go start her own instead. Assault free basketball, what a novel concept! Wonder when Crusty Cathy will get on board with such a groundbreaking venture. Not gonna hold my breath. But I will certainly keep enjoying these Angel Reese *highlights in the meanwhile.
