The NBA Is Not Prepared To Deal With Skinny King Joel Embiid

When healthy, Joel Embiid is the best big man in the game. He's an unstoppable freak of nature. He's consistently in the MVP conversation. He has the ability to completely takeover games at any given moment.

The only issue is that whole "when healthy" thing. Because keeping Joel Embiid healthy for an entire season is like trying to keep a white shirt clean while you're eating a rack of ribs. It's just such a massively large body to keep intact. The wear and tear on his body from playing just a few games is probably as much as most guys deal with in a year. If it's not his knees, it's his face. If it's not his face, it's some sort of illness. Unless you put him in bubble wrap and have him eat a deli container full of Flintstone gummy vitamins every day, it seems impossible to keep Joel Embiid healthy for a full season.

But this is a great start!

Look at this guy! Skinny minny! This man is looking TRIM.

Looks like he wakes up in the morning and has a small bowl of cottage cheese and a black coffee for breakfast. He goes to the gym, then he has a shake and a few eggs after his workout. For lunch it's grilled chicken and rice, a handful of trail mix, and maybe some fruit. Hits a few laps in the pool during the afternoon, salmon and veggies for dinner, maybe some sort of greek yogurt bowl as a late night snack, and call it a day.

So now we're looking at an incredibly healthy and fit Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown who just got over his fear of heights by skydiving in Egypt, and Tyrese Maxey rage baiting LeBron to practically live in the gym by showing up earlier than him every day.

Healthy LeBron. Psychopath Tyrese. Energized LeBron. We might just have a basketball team on our hands here, folks.
