Minister Of Culture Never Stops: Matthew McConaughey Was The First Person To Text Bijan Robinson After He Signed His New Contract
Bijan rightfully got paid a whole lot of money because, well, have you seen the Falcons QB room? The offense should be based around Bijan. But this isn't about the Falcons. This is about the savvy move from Matthew McConaughey, who didn't even wait two minutes and was the first person to text Bijan
Now, they are obviously friends and have a relationship due to Texas. But, you know what else is big with Texas? NIL. Money for the program. Who better to lead the charge than the Minister of Culture?
Tim Warner. Getty Images.Former stars donate back to their college all the time. It can't hurt to send a congrats text and then get back to the money a little later on. Love that McConaughey didn't even wait two minutes for the news to hit. It's what the Minister of Culture does. He wears the burnt orange, sometimes shows up on the bench and keeps everyone happy.
Giphy Images.I do find the whole running back situation intriguing. I say that from a very nerd standpoint because of how teams build rosters now. Bijan openly said he wanted to reset the market
Then you get Jonathan Taylor getting a new contract:

And now Jahmyr Gibbs holding out for a new contract
People freak out when you pay a running back, but we're talking about 3 of the best here. It feels like we've gone the complete opposite way on running backs and now wide receivers are getting overpaid. Either way, it fascinates me. But again, the story here is McConaughey. Man was glued to the news and there's very few things better than getting the first congrats text in. You did your job, you got the attention and then everyone else after you is just repeating what you said. Big win for McConaughey.
