Jaylen Brown Wants The Entire Sixers Team To Go Skydiving If They Win A Championship, Which Would Be The Last Game The Sixers Ever Win
Jaylen Brown went skydiving a few days ago to get over his fear of heights. Everybody who knows anything about the Sixers knows what a horrific idea that was. The Sixers literally almost had a player die because Zhaire Smith ate Thai chicken without knowing he had a sesame allergy. So if an order of Thai chicken could almost take out a Sixer, obviously skydiving is the equivalent of eating a dozen sesame seed bagels.
But somehow, through the grace of God, Jaylen Brown was able to return home from Egypt unscathed. Perhaps it is because Jaylen Brown hadn't actually put on a Sixers jersey yet at that point. The curse didn't have any opportunity to take hold of him yet. He just got his first Sixers jersey last night.
But either way, he went skydiving in Egypt and returned back home without any medical complications. We should view that as one of the luckiest moments in Sixers' franchise history. And we should also view that as the perfect time to quit skydiving as an organization all together. Quit while you're ahead. Jaylen Brown made it out fine, but we don't want to keep testing the waters on this one.
If the Sixers win a championship, and then go on a team skydiving trip afterwards to celebrate? I can assure you it will be the last championship this team ever wins. Because there won't be a team anymore after that.
I'm willing to give Jaylen Brown a pass here. For starters, he's probably still pretty juiced off the adrenaline from skydiving. He's not thinking straight. And also, he just hasn't been around. He doesn't know how quickly disaster can strike when we're dealing with the Philadelphia 76ers men's professional basketball team. You were able to sneak one skydiving trip past the Basketball Gods already. Under no circumstances should anybody associated with this organization ever try to do it again.
Sidenote: The 30 for 30 would be crazy.
