Once A Knick, Always A Knick: Mitchell Robinson Is Already Reminding Some Sorry Celtics Fans That The Knicks Sent Their Ass Home Last Year

I'm not mad that Mitchell Robinson took the money from the Celtics. It's impossible to be mad when you're an NBA Champ. I refuse to let anything bother me in the basketball world until a new champion is crowned. And even then, might just be the Knicks again. I'm not ruling out a back-to-back. What I do love seeing is Mitchell Robinson knows what matters here.

That it's once a Knick, always a Knick.

I look forward to seeing the sorry Celtics fans lose their mind when he misses a couple free throws. He knows where the real fanbase lies and that's Knicks fans. We didn't get frustrated when there was Hack-A-Mitch. We wished those free throws in from time to time. That's how we know this decision was strictly business and him wanting to get paid as much as possible. Mitch would never play for the Celtics without that coming up.

I like to think about that series last year. That was really the end of the Celtics run. Take out the Tatum injury, the Knicks were winning that series regardless. That led to the Brown trade and everyone wanting to blow up the team well before they blew a 3-1 lead to the Sixers. The same Sixers teams the Knicks swept just as a reminder. That was also the same series that Mikal Bridges made two-game winning plays and I fully believe led to the title run this year.

Good to remind them thought it, Mitch. We won't boo you when you come back to MSG. We'll run Hack-A-Mitch and thank you for this.
