Were those moves signs he was staying in Boston? Was the plan still to move him? We still didn't have any clarity around that outside of Shams just spamming the same reports that the Celtics were shopping him, but we didn't have any other information.

What this does tell us, I guess, is that Brad was adamant about getting off Brown's contract. But all the reports were about splitting that cap hit into other pieces, and now you've done none of that? Cool you got a couple picks. Awesome. My intial gut reaction is that you still lost this trade.
Maybe there are other moves to be made, but I doubt it? This is how the Jays Era ends? Paul fucking George????
