It was a rather...tumultuous few months inside the Philadelphia Eagles locker room with the entire AJ Brown saga. The more that comes out, the more you realize that selfish bastard was the root of all of their problems. He's a great player, no doubt about it. He's the greatest receiver to play for the Eagles. But he made it his goal to sow division and create conflict within the Eagles locker room to the point where the Eagles had no other option but to trade his ass. There's a good chance he's the main reason why the whole Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel entanglement got blown up in the first place. He was ready to destroy everything and everyone around him in order to get traded.
It was a situation that could have completely shattered the Eagles' locker room. They were able to remove the problem, but sometimes a quick renovation doesn't do the trick. Sometimes you need to tear it down to studs and completely remodel.
But from the looks of DeVonta Smith and Jalen Hurts together at DeVonta's wedding, these two couldn't possibly care less about AJ Brown being out of the picture now.
Just look at these fellas go. Now THAT is what a QB1 and WR1 relationship looks like. You think Drake Maye and AJ Brown are bustin' it down right now like this? Not a chance.
There's no other QB/WR duo in the NFL like Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith. The only duo to ever win a National Championship and a Super Bowl together. All these guys care about is winning football games by whatever means necessary. The only stats they care about are the numbers on the scoreboard once that clock hits 0:00 in the 4th quarter. Now they don't have to deal with the constant drama in the locker room anymore, and they get to mentor an absolute lunatic like Makai Lemon.
