Man Who Won A Private Jet In A Mr. Beast Contest Was Arrested (And Released) After Allegedly Co-Piloting Plane Carrying 577-Pounds Of Marijuana
Forgive me for talking out of my ass here, but unless you essentially have unlimited money, there's just no fucking way owning a plane is worth it, right? Even if it's given to you as a gift. If somebody knocked on my door right now and offered me a free airplane... well I'm obviously accepting it... but from there, I wouldn't even to know where to begin.
I guess my first move is calling the airport to see if I could rent some space in a hangar. Google says that would run me between $1,500 – $3,000 a month. Realistically, I think it would take me about 30 minutes of owning a plane before I immediately pivoted to selling it. I'm sure there are smarter ways to make money off your private jet long-term, but everything about plane ownership seems like an incredible hassle that I'm very much not equipped to handle.
Maybe I'd have a different attitude if I actually knew how to fly the thing. But that's how I'd end up in a situation like Jabari "Captain Treezy" Brown. If you're a pilot, and you own a plane, and you don't have generational wealth, it's only a matter of time before someone approaches you with 577-pounds of cannabis and an offer you can't refuse. Especially once you're a little deeper into plane ownership, and that 25,000-pound problem you inherited from Mr. Beast is starting to feel less like a "prize", and more like a money pit. At that point, I'd probably be looking for any way to make money off of it.
Sorry for the plane rant. I just started thinking about what I would actually do if I won a plane. The answer is sell it. Anyways, some internet guy who goes by Captain Treezy won a private jet from Mr. Beast last year.
Then he got arrested in a $3.6M drug bust. However, since I started this blog, it appears that Captain Treezy has been released. Also, the aircraft carrying the 500+ pounds of marijuana was not the same jet he won in the Mr. Beast contest. Captain Treezy was merely co-piloting a jet that just so happened to be stuffed full of so much weed. And somehow... after being arrested... after Captain Treezy had his mugshot taken and everything... he was able to talk the cops into releasing him. With no charges. Captain Treezy got off scot-free.

Captain Treezy must be one silver-tongued motherfucker. I'm not sure how you can co-pilot a plane with 577-pounds of weed and convince the authorities that you were completely in the dark. But Captain Treezy did it. Good for him.
Good luck in all your future plane flying endeavors, CT. Somehow you seemed to have escaped this potentially life-ruining endeavor. It's never too late to sell your plane.
