Putting Giusy Meloni Front And Center At The Italian Open Is The Easiest Way To Get Everyone Interested In The Tournament

It's a weird time in the sports world right now. The playoffs are going on, but we have days off in the NBA with the sweeps by the Knicks (thank God) and the Thunder. Hockey still delivers, but now all I can think about with it is sonk.

And I'm not like a Blutman who can just sit there and watch tennis. It's never moved the needle for me, it's never gotten my attention. I'll try to watch a US Open final or something along those lines but I just don't have the capacity in my brain to care about one more sport. That's actually something I've learned as I get older. You can only care about so many things and pay attention to so many things. Tennis missed the cut.

That's until now. That's until I did my daily routine and had Giusy Meloni pop up on my timeline. Specifically Giusy Meloni at the Italian Open

I started researching and everything. Sure, it was just to see what it was called where she was and what the ties were. I found that out, plus she was there to see Jannik Sinner, who is someone I at least knew in the tennis world. Even knew he was Italian, so yeah, got that going for me. I even know he won this match she was at because like any good blogger I did my research.

Well done. Nothing else to say but the Italian Open is on and it has at least drawn my interest.
