The Punisher Special Is Getting Fried For A Bad CGI Scene

ICYMI, Marvel dropped a special for The Punisher last night called 'The Punisher: One Last Kill'. Just a 1 hour ep following the formula of one of their major successes in 'Werewolf By Night'. To tell the truth, I mostly liked it. Once it got rolling, the action was great! The whole third act reminded me of a watered down version of 'The Raid'. Confined apartment action trying to escape waves of enemies. Fun stuff.

However, the scene above stood out like a sore thumb. I stopped, rewound it 3 times and thought "Wow, that sucks. I'm probably the only one that will take issue with it, though.". But I was wrong. Within an hour, a million people had clipped it. And it does look like shit. Maybe not for a low budget affair, but this is a Disney production. I think it's fair to expect more from the top dog.

In addition to this, Jon Bernthal has continued to be a meme machine.

Again, I don't hate the series. But invest a little more in VFX.
