Genius: Atlanta Will 'Honor' Fans By Keeping $5 Beers And $2 Hot Dogs At Mercedes-Benz Stadium For Its Eight World Cup Games

Pretty sure everyone knows FIFA is one of the most money-hungry, possibly corrupt organizations out there. They will do anything for a $1, which is why our last World Cup was played in the winter. Now we have something smart, genius even. Atlanta is known for having cheap prices and this fan first menu. It's one of the biggest complaints people have when they go to games. You spend money for a ticket, you go to get a hot dog and a beer and you're down another $30 out of nowhere. But think about all the press out there right now. You have tailgating fights:

Seating fights

Train fights

The whole fact that it's an expanded World Cup for the first time and everything else seemingly going wrong with this. But Atlanta? Atlanta is out here saying come give us your fans and for $7 you get a hot dog and a beer. That's how you draw people in. This isn't just for nothing games too. Atlanta has 5 group stage games, a first round game, a second round game and a semifinal. Good luck with those beers when the US advances to the semifinal in Atlanta.

Either way, this is how going to a game should be. Pay your entry fee, make it reasonable for normal fans to watch game. Everything gets priced out these days. Shout out Atlanta for keeping some sense of normalcy here for Czech vs South Africa on June 18.
