This Lady Sitting Court Side At The Sixers Play-In Game Tonight Is A Prime Example Of Why You Need To Get Off Your Phone While Sitting In The First Row
Lady, lady, lady...this is the NBA Play-In Tournament. You're not sitting court side to an NBA Finals game. These teams actually suck at basketball. You're watching the Sixers take on the Orlando Magic for the SEVENTH seed in the playoffs. They are only still playing right now because the NBA found a new way to squeeze as much money out of the fans and broadcasting deals.
Put the phone down, and keep your head on a swivel while the game is going on. I'm sure most of the people who would be commenting on your Facebook aren't able to actually watch the game tonight because they can't figure out Prime Video. But that doesn't mean you need to keep scrolling deeper and deeper into your phone while the game is going on. Wait until the next TV timeout to check out that text from your nephew about how cool it is that you're sitting court side. I promise you that text will still be there between quarters.
But the moment you take your eyes off the game, you're dead. Plain and simple.
Sidenote: Is that Tom Kline sitting next to her? Admittedly I don't watch a ton of Sixers games, so I don't know if he's always on the hardwood during games. But always love seeing him behind the plate at Phillies games.
