FIGHT: Jorge Soler Charged Reynaldo Lopez and the Two Traded Punches

Man, I hate seeing this from a Braves legend. Jorge Soler got a pitch high and tight after already being hit once by Reynaldo Lopez earlier in the game — both of which came after a two-run homer in his first at-bat — and took matters into his own hands.

It’s not often you see baseball players come to legitimate blows, but Soler and Lopez were dealing real punches. Lopez dared Soler to come after him and he just happened to play chicken with the wrong guy. Thankfully, everyone seems to be ok and the situation was kept pretty contained.

On behalf of the Braves, we are sorry, Jorge. You’re still the man. We will always have 2021.

UPDATE: Holy cow, look at Walt Weiss! That’s my manager!
