Another Ring For KC: Chiefs Heiress Gracie Hunt Is Now Engaged To Trent Green's Son Derek
Gracie Hunt is a popular name around these parts, and for good reason. The heiress to the Kansas City Chiefs franchise has been one of the more eligible bachelorettes in all the land for quite some time. That is, until now. Derek Green, the son of former Chiefs legend Trent Green, is the lucky fella who popped the question over the weekend and cemented his future in the stars.
Gotta give Derek credit too for the subtle manner he went about this moment. Nothing could give away what was about to happen.
I take back the sarcasm on the microscopic chance Gracie was temporarily kidnapped, thrown into a van with a dark hood over her head, convinced she would never see the sun ever again, only to be transported to that unbelievable setup while coincidentally wearing the perfect white dress. The kidnappers drop her off, remove the hood, and boom there's Derek down on one knee with a magnificent ring in his hand. What a moment that would be. I'm choosing to believe this is how it went down. That's true love.
Can't imagine what this wedding is going to look like if that's what the engagement entailed.
For the first time in years Gracie's Chiefs were nowhere near a Super Bowl ring this season, but credit to Gracie she still got hers. Well done Derek.
