'IT WAS DESTINED TO HAPPEN' - Nebraska's Radio Call Of The Last 40 Seconds Of Their Wild Win Is The Best Thing You'll Hear From The First Weekend

How can you not be romantic about college basketball?

I don't even think it was just that corn fed fella in the crowd. Anyone watching that game had the same reaction. You had people playing in the game talking about dying because of it

I've gone back and watch that shot no less than 10 times. Each time it looks closer and closer to getting in the hoop. But this is about Kent Pavelka. That guy fucking rules:

Imagine calling losing basketball for this long, dedicating your life just to have brutal moment after moment after moment. Then it happens. 41 years later, you get to call a Tournament win and then one of the wilder endings to an NCAA Tournament game that we've seen. And it's your team advancing. It's your team getting the luck. Dude nailed the call too. The oh my God as Tanner's shot missed was as pure as pure gets. He became every single person in America in that moment. Then it clicked. You can hear him stumbling over words a little bit but that made it even better.

There's nothing better than these local radio guys who have been around forever getting a moment. We need all the videos of them synced up to the games. These are the guys that just want to see one run and he saw a miracle. Shout out Kent.
