Love it. AD's, coaches, anyone should be fighting for their school. It can change so much in terms of money, growth of a team, etc. But now Saylor came onto Wake Up Barstool and defended himself
Perfect. I don't disagree that there is something about the heart and soul in college basketball being the mid-major. You have the bluebloods, the teams who are fighting for national titles all the time. But then you have the stories. We all remember Dunk City. We all remember Antonio Gates making an Elite 8 with Kent State. The Davidson run to the Elite 8, St. Peter's, Gohlke (fuck them) and FDU and UMBC. You name it, but Cinderella has been in our lives forever.
We all know the schedule isn't great. But you know what is? Miami (Ohio) being undefeated. That's where you can 'punish' them with seeding. They have the resume of an 11 seed or something. But they are in the Tournament, especially if they win the next two games. I don't want to live in a world where Cinderella gets punished and we reward some average at best high-major team. That's not what the NCAA Tournament is based on.

Give me more of this. I want AD's to stand up for their guys. I want coaches to stand up for their guys. If Bruce Pearl or anyone else is going to attack your team, you have every right to defend yourself. Just let Miami win the MAC so we can stop the dumb arguments.
