Big Boy Football: The Newest Giants Rumor Is They Want To Load Up On Running Backs, Looking At Kenneth Walker/Travis Etienne/Jeremiyah Love

You hear that, NFL? You hear that everyone who questions Jaxson Dart's toughness? Big boy football is coming back to the Giants. Now, do I love the idea of drafting Jeremiyah Love? No. I don't want a running back at number 5, not with how many holes this team has. But if you can trade back, get some draft capital and take him around 9? You have a little more of my attention. Or you just draft Caleb Downs or whoever at 5 and then sign a Kenneth Walker? Sure. I blindly trust John Harbaugh because I have no other option. 

I know what you might be thinking. They already have Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy. They sure do, that's why you load up on running backs. Remember Cam Skattebo getting carted off with a gross injury? Yeah, that could happen again. Tracy is a perfect backup running back that can do a little bit of everything. Throw someone else out there and run the ball down team's throats. 

If there's one thing John Harbaugh knows what to do it's how to run the ball. Doesn't matter who was back there he was running the ball. Sure, some may say it helps having Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, so find a new version of that. Or at least a lower version of that. I'm trying to get excited about this team again. I just want a little bit of hope since we have a real adult running the show for the first time since Tom Coughlin. If he wants to load up on running backs, I'm not going to stop him. Find a way to win, that's all that matters. We just want to see games that matter after Halloween and I'm not talking begging for losses so we have a top pick. Big boy football.
