The Full 'Toy Story 5' Trailer Has Arrived, And Woody Is Balding Now?

I know a ton of people, including myself, were pissed that they ever made another Toy Story movie after the third one. It couldn't have been a more perfect ending. The fucking incinerator scene still gets to me. Plus, Woody and the gang saying goodbye to Andy?? Waterworks every time.

But I still went to see Toy Story 4 in theaters, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I gotta say, I'm pretty fired up to see this fifth movie in June. I always hate when movies try so hard to be "with the times," so I was nervous when I saw that they were getting a damn iPad into the mix for this go-around. However, after seeing more of the vision for this film, I think it's actually a really cool concept for this installment.

Woody is off finding lost toys that have been abandoned in this age of new tech. Kids are fully glued to their screens instead of playing like the generations of children before them. I honestly hope this movie serves as a wake-up call to parents who are just sticking a screen in front of their toddler's face to shut them the fuck up. Of course, I'm saying this as someone who has never planted my seed and dealt with raising a child, but it drives me nuts to see people getting their kids addicted to technology before they're even out of diapers.

Back to Woody, though. One of the more prominent parts of the trailer is that Woody has a giant bald spot on the back of his head. It's referenced multiple times just how much he's balding, and now I'm just picturing Woody sprawled out between two seats on a plane to Turkey, getting some Z's in before a much-needed hair transplant.

We'll see what the rest of the movie has in store when it comes out this summer. But so far, I'm feeling pretty confident in what Pixar's cooking. And despite the fact that I'm a full grown, 26-year-old man, I will be there with a big ol' bucket of popcorn for 'Toy Story 5' opening night. No matter what.
