Add This Video of LaMelo Ball Crashing His Hummer To The "LaMelo Ball Is The Worst Driver In The NBA" Compilation

USA Today – Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball was involved in a car accident Wednesday afternoon in Uptown Charlotte in which his custom 2022 Hummer struck a gray Kia sedan, reports and online video of the incident appears to show.

WSOC-TV published footage of the wreck on its website.

According to WSOC, the collision happened when Ball's vehicle — driving west on Trade Street — attempted to make a left turn onto Tryon Street and crashed into the gray Kia, which was going east on Trade.

One person had minor injuries, and witnesses reportedly saw Ball hop out of the Hummer and into a Lamborghini.

LaVar Ball did a lot of things right as a father. Which at one point would have been a pretty crazy thing to think. He's still a crazy person. But whatever he did (even if it was mostly just give them good genes), he wound up with 2 sons in the NBA, and another son who... well he wrote that one rap song that went super viral. It was popular for about a month. It made it into 2K.

But the song landed him an $8 guaranteed deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group. You can't argue with results. This man raised three multi-millionaires. 

LaVar Ball is a legendary sports dad. But that legend completely fucking whiffed in the teaching his kids to drive department. And that was back when he had both feet. I suppose I don't have any damning bad driver evidence against Lonzo and Liangelo, but LaMelo has presented enough of it for an entire family.

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions to assume this crash was completely LaMelo's fault. We can't 100% tell from that angle. But that USA Today article says he was attempting to turn left. It sure doesn't look like he had the right of way. And just in case you think I'm flippantly accusing LaMelo of being a reckless driver based on one incident, I present to you this LeMelo Ball leaving practice compilation. 

I also present to you the time an 11-year old kid was waiting outside the arena for his autograph, and LeMelo Ball drove over his foot. Hopefully he signed the cast.

So maybe LaVar Ball raised a kid who's a bit of an asshole on the road. But at least he's rich. Good work, Dad. Maybe give LeMelo a call and have a conversation about safe driving. Enroll him in a defense driving course. Take away his luxury vehicles. Anything. At least introduce him to the concept of a red light. Your youngest son is wreaking havoc on the city of Charlotte.
