'I Thought He Was Good To Go' - Bill Self Sounds Like He's Had Enough Of Darryn Peterson's Shit After He Subbed Himself Out Again Last Night

Another game, another Darryn Peterson story. The guy just refuses to play basketball, I don't know how else to say it. Peterson was rolling last night at Oklahoma State, 20 points in the first and then hit this three early in the 2nd half and decided that's it. Look, I know the game wasn't that close and it's not like Peterson had to play that much longer in the second half. But this is the story with Peterson. He's missed 11 games already and has done this move before. But now? Now Bill Self sounds like he's had enough of this shit 

Yeah, he knows this is bullshit. He knows some of it is true, some of it is load management. I don't know what we're doing here. You're getting paid in college now. When Darryn Peterson plays, Kansas looks like they can win 6 in a row, which is the whole goal. Self has to hate this shit. He's one of the last guys still of the old guard of coaches. He doesn't want to deal with load management, also doesn't help when you hear this about Darius Acuff

At what point do you just want to be a hooper? That's the problem with Peterson. When you're this good you should be loving it out there. You'd be beloved by Kansas fans, you get to kick everyone's ass and put on a show. That's the best part. Instead Darryn Peterson developed the nickname DNP and we see him on the bench all the time. I hope Self directly calls him out next time. We're inching closer and closer to it.
