Ranking My Favorite St Patricks Day Merch

We are officially one month away from the greatest day of the year: St. Patrick’s Day. It doesn’t matter where you live big city, small town, suburbs, everyone shows up for St. Paddy’s. It’s America’s annual hall pass to get as drunk as humanly possible with zero judgment. In my honest, humble, party-loving opinion, nothing beats St. Patrick’s Day… and nobody does it better than Barstool Sports when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day merch.
So without further ado, here are my five favorite pieces from this year’s catalog.
5. Ireland Drinking Team
Depending on where you live, this one can be either a T-shirt or a long sleeve, but either way, it’s a win. The design is clean, funny, and timeless. If you have a dad like mine, who swears he’s Irish despite zero evidence, this shirt will have him fully convinced he’s representing the national team. Olympic season or not, he’ll be blacked out by noon believing he’s doing his country proud.
4. Split The G
This is an absolute classic. Time of year, time of day, day of the week, it’s always a good time to split the G. It’s become a full-blown phenomenon. People don’t just want to split the G, they live to split the G. Best part? This isn’t one of those St. Patrick’s Day shirts you wear once and forget about. This one stays in the rotation year-round.
3. St. Patrick’s Day Chicago
There is truly no better place on Earth than Chicago on St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve been to hundreds of music festivals, concerts, and drinking events, you name it, and nothing comes close. It’s a mystical day. Something about it feels unreal, like you’re inside a movie. You can’t explain it. You just have to see it to believe it.
2. Shamrock Stripes
I’ll be honest, I love this hoodie. And this is the only day of the year I can wear it without feeling like a die-hard Boston Celtics fan. Realistically, it doesn’t get more Boston than a Barstool logo and a shamrock, but on St. Patrick’s Day, I get the hall pass. If the weather is below 50 degrees, this is absolutely what I’m wearing.
1. Irish Slammer
Whoever designed this shirt deserves a raise. I love everything about it. The Irish Slammer recipe written right on the chest is perfect, and the design on the back needs no notes. It’s clean, funny, and elite. An all-around flawless St. Patrick’s Day T-shirt, and easily the best one in the lineup.
