The Rangers May Have Just Announced The Best Giveaway We've Ever Seen, A Nolan Ryan Replica Blood-Stained Jersey

This is how you sell tickets for a promo game, this is how you get fans lining up for hours outside of the gates. You come up with something off the wall and that people want, the Rangers have done that with this Nolan Ryan giveaway replica blood-stained jersey. Just incredible, everything about it. It looks like the real thing, with blood in the same spots as the famous picture and everything. Not sure how they even thought of this, but this should be a big time collectors item amongst Rangers fans. I love everything about it. 

Lot of folks think that this was the aftermath of the Robin Ventura fight but it's not, this was the result of a Bo Jackson chopper up the middle that Nolan couldn't escape. Caught him right in the mouth and the blood flowed all over the place. Obviously if you know anything about Nolan Ryan you'd know he wasn't coming out of the game for some blood, and he stayed in and threw 7 scoreless before getting stitched up. 

Regardless, it's one of the coolest baseball pictures ever, and I see this starting a trend.
