Neal Shipley Stole The Show At TGL By Hitting The First Ever Hole-In-One In League History, Celebrated By Chugging Some Beers With The Boys

I know it's a simulator, which brings up the discussion of how much can you truly celebrate an ace on one of them? Now, this is obviously showmanship, playing in a league and all that stuff, so it's different then any of us doing the same thing. But it's the first in league history. It was Shipley's debut for the league. I think it's fair to have some fun with it. I try not to shit on people celebrating cool stuff too much anymore. You want to rush the floor? Go ahead. You want to rush the field? Be my guest. Go nuts in a simulator league? Of course, Shipley is one of the future faces of golf.

It was kinda cool seeing him and Luke Clanton together on a team since they are going to be the guys we know going forward. Shipley got the ace, but Clanton won the beer yugging contest (get him on the station, Dana)

I said it before but TGL is perfect TV. I will watch almost anything golf related, but the fact that my two sons love watching this, we can spend some time talking and watching golf, it's a win. It's made for TV, the last 30 minutes with singles tends to sort of always deliver. The holes are fun. They have something here to keep people entertained and it's just a good time for people to learn about new golfers.

Being good, and I mean legit good, not Sunday 9am good, at golf has to be the best feeling. Some of us are out here grinding to just consistently shoot mid 80s and they are out here fucking around with a 68 if they want.
