There's No Bigger Hypocrite Than Tom Izzo Saying He's Trying To Do 'What's Fair', Not Sure If He'll Punish Jeremy Fears For Kicking Dudes In The Nuts

You've seen the Jeremy Fears stuff by now. It's everywhere if you follow college basketball. Not in this blog is the video of him from last Friday trying to trip Yaxel Lendeborg. Yeah, dirty play after dirty play. Not only that but Tom Izzo has handled this like a complete asshole. I don't know any other any other way to put it. Dusty May called him out on Monday, Izzo responded saying it went both ways and Dusty could call him instead of airing it out to the media.

Then after the nut kick, Izzo implied that it was called because Dusty May brought up the dirty plays

And then he did the whole 'I don't know if I'm going to start him' all this other stuff. People assumed he'd at least be benched to start the game against Illinois, but surprise, Tom Izzo doesn't know what he's going to do!

Trying to do what's fair and right! In other news, I'm sure this has nothing to do with it:

Yeah, you're not telling me Izzo is going to punish Fears knowing he doesn't have Ugochukwu to fall back on? The man has gone full Coach K. He has a Grayson Allen here and he's doing his indefinite suspension bit that lasts 1 game because you lose by 14. Izzo can't preach this isn't what I teach my guys and shit like that and just go yep we had a Come Jesus meeting. He's been a hypocrite and he's been wrong about everything since Dusty May brought it up.

All you have to do is not blame other teams for your guys having dirty plays. We saw it with Grayson Allen and Brad Davison. Now we have it with Jeremy Fears. It's not hard to not kick dudes in the nuts or try to trip people. At least he didn't like the backward kick. Good to know that's out there at least.
