The Same "Look At Me" Dork That Voted Justin Herbert For MVP Also Was The Voter That Ruined Jayden Daniels Unanimous ROY Last Year

This Sam Monson guy has GOT TO GO. He had his "look at me" moment last year when Jayden got 48 first place votes for OROY and Brock Bowers had 1. And his explanation was very stupid, "tight end is hard". UHHHHH, compared to a QB??? What an absolute brain dead moron this guy is. But whatever. Jayden got his Rookie of the Year and we all moved on and forgot about it.

Until this year, where he voted for JUSTIN HERBERT to win the MVP. And his explanation? "Justin Herbert's offensive line was bad". Uhhhhh...ok? Cool. Is that now the criteria for winning NFL MVP? Best QB behind a shaky O-line? Brutal.

But furthermore, let's tie these two votes together. If he used his Herbert reasoning last season, not only would he have voted for Jayden for OROY, but he also would have voted for him to be MVP. What Jayden did last year on the Commanders playing with a bottom 5 roster surely surpasses what Justin Herbert did this year. But Sam Monson wants us all to forget about his reasons and just continue giving him attention.

It's truly as brain dead as it gets. I can understand voting for someone with HEAVY emphasis on the "valuable" part of the Most Valuable Player, sure. They always do the song and dance "it's not best player, it's most valuable!" to back up their stupid votes. But this time, it doesn't work, because his narrative from last year doesn't carry over to this year. He is just an attention whore trying to get follows and eyeballs. And for that his vote should be removed ASAP, no question about it. You can't just switch narratives every year to back up your insane votes, people don't forget.

I didn't care who won MVP, Stafford or Maye. And really, based on Sam's criteria, CMC should have been the MVP. 1,200 rushing yards and over 900 receiving yards and 17 TDs on a very injured 49ers squad that went 12-5.

Needless to say, between the HoF voting and now the MVP voting, the NFL needs to revamp the entire system.
