Luka Garza Dropped A New College Hoops Conspiracy About Michigan State, The Breslin Center And How They Sabotage Away Teams In The Second Half

Oh hell yeah. I love a good old fashioned sports conspiracy theory, especially one that doesn't really have factual evidence:

Just lean into saying they purposely do this. I mean I wouldn't doubt it. I assume almost every college basketball team has something along these lines. You want to do anything possible to have an advantage, which tends to be in the second half of games. There's no rules in college basketball about how tight or loose a rim has to be. Look at Maui, that's the best shooting gym in the world. The Yuggernauts could make at least 2 threes in that gym.

What I do need to see now is Michigan State lean into this. Do something with the rims during the next home game or put it on a shirt or something. I saw Michigan State fans freaking out over this, calling it rage bait. Well lean into it. Be the team who fucks over the away team with an awful rim. It's a great conspiracy theory to have because it's a dumb one. It's dumb in the sense that Michigan State would be the only team to do this or that you didn't even play bad in the second half while you were at Iowa.

You know what keep giving me these sort of things. Get guys from all conferences on a podcast and pitch conspiracy theories in college basketball. I'm not talking about refs or something like that. I want to hear that like Iowa State makes the away team get changed in their dark, something pointless like that, but pisses off an entire fanbase. Well done, Luka.
