Tough Spot: A Soccer Game In Brazil Had To Be Paused Mid-Match So One Of The Goalies Could Run Off The Field And Go Take A Shit

[Source] - Two minutes into the second half, goalkeeper Cássio had to leave the Arena Urban field in a hurry to use the locker room, forcing the match to be paused.

After a brief conversation with the referee to explain the situation, the Raposa's number 1 ran to the stadium's internal facilities.

Now just wait a goddamn minute here. You can stop a soccer game just to let someone go take a shit? I don't care for that. This is pro soccer, you have to take a sub here. It's like an injury. If someone twists an ankle and can't go anymore, you sub them out. Same rules apply for taking a shit. You should have to put the backup goalie in or let the starter shit himself on the field. No other option at this point. Can't be bending rules just because of some bubble guts. 

I wish we had audio of this Cassio fella talking to the ref. Brutal for them to send this ref to wait outside the locker room.

No one wants to be on poop watch. What are you supposed to do besides stand outside the locker room like a kid waiting for a parent to leave the bathroom. Trust me, whenever I open a bathroom door one of my two kids is inevitably 3 feet away for no reason at all. Jump scare nearly every time. 

But you can't be letting guys just leave the field to go take a shit. Deal with it like everyone else in pro sports and either shit your pants like an offensive lineman or sub him out. Terrible call.
