'We Didn't Sign Up For 72' - Bryson Doesn't Sound Thrilled About LIV's Move To 72 Hole Tournaments, People Are Now Questioning His Future With LIV

In case you didn't know, yeah, LIV is moving to 72 holes. You know, like every other golf tournament, because they are trying to still get OWGR points. Now this is starting to go around Twitter and it makes sense. It makes sense that Jon Rahm likes it, because it does help his team the most. People think LIV did this in part to make Rahm happy, because he's one of the 2 biggest names left with Bryson.

Now it's pretty clear where Bryson stands. He doesn't like the move to 72 holes. He signed up for 54. But the real quote to me is the 'I’ve got a contract for this year, and we’ll go through it there and see what happens after that.' That line has led people to think he's hinting at leaving for the PGA after this year. We saw them welcome back Brooks and Patrick Reed will be playing later this year. Then there's also Kevin Na, Hudson Swafford and Pat Perez

I don't think he's saying anything crazy here. He says he's still excited to play, he wants to keep growing this, but at the same time he's putting the nuggets out there. He's hinting at not liking stuff and keeps bringing up how he's in a contract year. This isn't the first athlete to talk like this during a contract year. Doesn't matter the sport, people tend to keep options open or are very clear they only want to play for one team.

Look, all it takes is one scroll through replies on Twitter and people are saying the same thing:

You get the point.

I said it before, but yeah come on back to the PGA, Bryson. Tournaments are better when we have every big name in the world playing in it. Right now we get it for the 4 majors. I want it for at least 10, because I'm not dumb and know that guys don't play 30 Tournaments a year.
