'I'm Not Ducking This Smoke' - Dusty May Walked Into Michigan State, Mocked Every Fan Screaming At Him And Then Ripped Their Hearts Out

Goddamn, that's the image that Michigan should have on the walls of the arena. The new man in charge coming in, soaking in the rivalry and then dropping this line:

I know Michigan State cut the lead and made it a game in the second half, but this was a Michigan show.

You can talk about Elliot Cadeau being the biggest x-factor in the country. He's the reason they almost lost to Nebraska and he's the reason they kicked Michigan State's ass. None of that matters, because I can't stop thinking about the move here by Dusty May. I didn't know he had that in him. I didn't know he could soak it in, sit there with a smile and taunt every Michigan State fan by doing so.

This is about Dusty May. This is how you handle a rivalry like this. You walk in, you soak it in with a smile knowing that you have the team you do. Then you rip their hearts out. You don't just toy with them, you embrace it. You hold your press conference talking about not ducking the smoke. It's probably the 2nd best picture in Michigan basketball history outside of the Fab 5 sitting on the hoop photo or Juwan Howard dancing. This is your guy now. This is a man who will rip the soul out of your rival and laugh about it. What a picture. What a line.
