Never Going For 2, Not Challenging Cooper Kupp's Catch - Sean McVay's Dumb Decisions Deserves All The Blame For The Rams Loss
This is the play that I see a lot of people screaming about. People screaming that Sean McVay overthought it and needs to get take the points. Well, the problem is he did that, which is why he had to go for it on 4th down here. McVay had two chances to make the smart decision and he fucked it up:

If you want to tell me McVay is the best coach in the league, I'm not going to argue, but he lost that game for the Rams yesterday. Two no-brainers to go for 2. You cut the game to 3, especially late in the 3rd, and then guess what? You kick the field goal there on 4th down and tie it up. This isn't chasing points like people scream after any failed two point conversion.
The other bizarre game management was taking a timeout and then not challenging the Kupp catch:
I don't know if he would have won the challenge, but why not just challenge it? You used a timeout regardless. Throw the flag before you call timeout. It's like McVay forgot about it or thought assistant replay would step in during a timeout and he'd have a challenge still. No idea. But, again, the loss happened by never going for 2. You had the Seahawks defense on the ropes, your offense was humming, you had two chances to go for it and then the 4th down call is easier to do.
Kicking a field goal to cut the lead to 1 is pointless. The Rams touched the ball once after that. The game was lost right there - or the muffed punt. That was horrific too. Either way one of the worst games McVay coached and that's where he blew it.
