'That Bottle Is Now Empty' - George Kittle's One Request After His Achilles Injury Was 49ers Owner Jed York Deliver A Bottle Of Tequila To The Locker Room

Didn't mean to go back-to-back 49ers injury blogs on a Monday morning, but your hands are tied when talking about the 49ers. They are the most injured franchise in all of sports. Of course, we had the George Kittle Achilles injury yesterday, everyone knew it right away. It's still wild to me how immune we all are now to those sort of injuries and we just know what it is instantly. Outside of like the Willis McGahee injury at Miami, we didn't know an ACL injury right away. We just waited until we saw it on the bottom or line or someone came on TV and told us about the injury.

I love this move though. Dude knew he can't do anything but sit around and hope his team gets a win. Get him a bottle of tequila, let him hang out and watch the game. What else you want him to do? Go to surgery right away? Go on a golf trip to Ireland? All that would be insane moves. Plus, he's not dead yet:

I do love the reporting from Diana. Everyone who took one second of Journalism 101 is losing their goddamn minds over the Jags reporter situation, now we have people somehow mad that Diana is reporting this? It's a great story. We're talking about maybe seeing the end of George Kittle's career here, we don't need to be doom and gloom at all times. The man wanted tequila, Jed York brought him tequila.
