SOMEBODY HIT SOMEBODY: There Was An All-Time "Mites on Ice" Brawl At The Hershey Bears Game
The kids are alright!
What an unbelievable tilt between these two teams. Everybody grab a partner and just start chucking. Haymakers galore. Bodies flying everywhere. Pure and total carnage.
This is what it's all about. When you play Mites on Ice during the intermission of an NHL game, you have a bunch of kids out there all playing a skill game. All those kids care about is scoring, or pulling off some nasty dangle. It's Instagram hockey. But when you play Mites on Ice during intermission in the AHL? Well welcome to the jungle. You're going to take a few punches, and all you can hope for is that you give a few more out yourself.
That fight was awesome. I'm pretty sure I even saw a few friendly fire punches thrown in the mix there as well. These kids didn't give a rat's behind who was standing in front of them, they were throwing. But obviously the MVP of this donnybrook was the goalie in white. That kid is the definition of a menace. Just went full Neil Little out there with zero hesitation.
