'We Suck Right Now' - Bill Self Isn't Even Trying To Hide Or Lie About What Kind Of Team Kansas Is After Losing To West Virginia (Again)

Bill Self has to hate Morgantown with a passion. It's the one place that truly has him in hell and the fact that West Virginia has 4 coaches in 4 years all with a win over Self seems like a fake stat I just made up to sound smart. 

Now we're talking about Bill Self here. One of the last members of the old guard in the coaching world. A guy who was once regarded as the best in the game, 2-time champion all that stuff. He could lie. He could just say it was an off night, it's a road game, whatever. 

Or that. Just say they suck. It's hard to lie about it. I mean, this isn't the Kansas we're used to seeing. They are 1-2 in the Big 12, should probably be 0-3 since a miracle earlier this week saved them against TCU. They are 11-5, no one is really scared of them and no one is talking about them as a national title contender. Again, this is Kansas. They were arguably the most consistent program in the country when you look at Bill Self being a top-4 seed in the Tournament every single year he was at Kansas until last year. 

I know Self lost a little bit, he's not as his peak. But he earned the right to say Kansas sucks. In fact, I want more coaches to do this. We're in the world of NIL and guys getting paid. Treat them as such. You can call them out on the podium. Everything is fair game these days. Shout out Ross Hodge though. That dude can coach his ass off.
