Make It Make Sense: Oregon RB Jayden Limar Is Entering The Transfer Portal Just Days Before A Semifinal Game

Make it make sense folks. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! Now this could be applied to a lot of things, so i guess let me start down the list. The first of which is that the calendar for College Football makes just no sense at all. It's disgusting the portal opens while we still have playoff games going on. You are getting penalized for advancing your team this far like Miami and Ole Miss, and Indiana and Oregon in that you are consumed with game prep, travel etc and trying to win a championship -LIKE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FUCKING DO, and yet still have to juggle the portal and transfers etc.

It's fucking asinine. Why on earth are we allowing the portal to open when the two biggest games of the season (well 3 including the championship) have yet to take place? It makes no fucking sense. For a sport that is adored and people care so passionately about, it really is nuts how dumb it's been and is. Reminder, this stupid ass sport didn't have a true champion for DECADES! In the 70's 80's and 90's (and obviously before) we had teams never play as 1 and 2 at the end of the year. Conferences stuck to their bowl alignments and then they just voted while never getting to see the best teams play it out. Absolutely insane.

The second of things that need to make sense, and maybe it's me being old school- but this kid is on the doorstep of a national fucking title, isn't that what you are supposed to want the most out of college? I sure as fuck would. It's disgusting how things have changed, priorities etc. To work this hard all year and then dump it ... literally DAYS before the Semifinals is INSANE. It makes no sense and it's a disgusting revelation of where we are with this sport.

The last of which is I don't know if you are reading the news, but Oregon's RB room is in BAD SHAPE.

There's MASSIVE opportunity to showcase yourself in a CFP Semi. The room is decimated with injuries and transfers, and this kid can play. He had a huge reception vs Texas Tech last week too.

He's going to get snaps, and guess what buddy if you show out in the semi's … you know what goes up? Your NIL price. It's not like teams aren't going to still want you in 5 days(if you lose, or 2 weeks if you win that game). Have confidence in yourself, play your ass off, take the opportunity to play your best on the biggest stage and try to win a national championship. Instead he's clearing out his locker, taking zoom calls and will be watching on TV. Just as bizarre a situation as it gets and I wish it could make sense to me, but it never will.
